KEVIN PATTERSON is a doctor and award-winning writer. He is a former regimental medical officer of 3RCHA, and has recently returned from Afghanistan, where he was working in the Role 3 hospital in Kandahar. Kevin is the author of THE WATER IN BETWEEN, COUNTRY OF COLD, and the recent novel CONSUMPTION. He lives in Saltspring Island, BC.
JANE WARREN is a freelance editor. She was most recently an agent with Anne McDermid & Associates Ltd. Prior to that, she worked in New York as a literary scout. She lives in Toronto.
